Dinners w/o 10/31:


Monday –
Make your own nachos using pork from Friday night’s Mexican dinner
Give each family member chips on a baking sheet and then they can load up on whatever they like.
– Cheese
– Pork (this is what we will have on hand)
– Olives
– Whatever you have around…
Bake around 375 for around 5 minutes and transfer to a plate
– Add salsa, sour cream, guac etc.

Tuesday –

Bok-choy on the grill (drizzle with sesame oil, s&p) then place right on the BBQ or in a BBQ basket
Spaghetti noodles tossed in store bought peanut sauce (kids love this!)We like  “Jade Sichuan” brand

Wednesday –
Michele out – Bob’s choice

Caesar salad
Caesar dressing recipe (stays well in fridge for 2 weeks)
5 garlic cloves minced
1tbls Dijon mustard
3 dashes Worcestershire
3 dashes tobasco
2 tsp anchovy paste (optional)
Salt to taste
Good amount of fresh pepper
2 Lemons squeezed
½ cup olive oil

Sautéed Brussels Sprouts with Lemon and Pistachios (brussel sprouts are in season and this dish is delicious – my father-in-law was even fooled as he does not like brussel sprouts – I didn’t’ tell him what they were until he confessed he liked the dish  )
